What do people usually dream about?
Does anyone remember their last dream they had? if so did your dream have any relation to the real world

The last dream I had I was roommates with this guy. I can't remember that part too well, but we got along well and were really close.
Change scene: I'm a delivery driver. Delivered to an apartment 528. A kid was there. Kinda happy to receive the package. Woman answers the door. "Can you tell me what this says?" 728. Aw shit. Wrong place. I take the box sheepishly.
Little girl, probably around 10, is at the bottom of a broken staircase. Part of my crew, apparently. She gets tasered by my previous roommate (in the dream). So, she's lying on the ground being electrocuted. I run down to the bottom of the stairs, and he's still tasing her.
I run towards him (we are like brothers) and tell him to stop, angry he's hurting her so much. Little girl walks up to some mound and starts shooting at my friend. I'm to the side of her. I run towards her and tackle her to the ground to stop her. She looks at the gun. Then at her leg. She's been shot in the leg. "Did he shoot back?" I think, disbelieving.
I think it might have something to do with a story I remembered the day before about a 14 year old girl being raped and killed by some man in the woods, last year. The girls body was found lying in the woods; the girl in my dream was lying on the ground being tased. But there was no gun. Makes no sense, but there's a connection.
The delivery part might have been due to my fear of my job I'm trying to get, and my worry that I might make mistakes.
Also, just incidentally, you can control your dreams with lucid dreaming. Takes practice. But it's scientifically proven. Pretty much the best thing in the world.
