I say I hate my face

he says a lot of people aren’t happy with theirs
I tell him yeah, but most don’t starve theirs to death

I say I hate my mind
he says a lot of people have bad thoughts
I tell him yeah, but most don’t want to sabotage their lives about it

I hate everything that I am
he says a lot of people have self esteem issues
I tell him yeah, but most don’t want to have never ever existed and to just fade away

he asks why I feel this way about myself?
I shrug and say that’s why I take the little white pills
