Would you share your feelings with a happily married individual if you really love him/her?

I won't because I would never destroy the marriage of a happily married couple. Simply because what goes around, does come around.😇

Have I experienced it personally? Yes, a long time ago. I was in early 20's then and she was someone I knew very well. I just walked away and chose never to keep in touch with her because keeping feelings to myself with her around was extremely difficult for me.

The best way to get rid of a problem, just forget the problem.😁 Though, I was the problem, she wasn't.

How would sharing your feelings affect someone's happiness in their marriage and even destroy it? You missed a few steps there.

@HannibalAteMeOut What if my instigation leads to something unexpected and guilt begins to kill her. Then what? I can sit back, relax and say it isn't my fault. Harsh reality, I would be responsible for the problems in her life later. Why to drag someone in a complicated love triangle?

Consequences would be frustrating rather painful for all three of us.

@SoLeRiMix not sure it can be that "unexpected", I mean for someone to confess their feelings to somebody in a relationship there was most likely some initiative, so it means the married person has feelings back if they do something about it or, worse, led them on to it.
It's not a complicated love triangle if she chooses to break up with her spouse. It's just how relationships sometimes work, she found something in you and chose you instead. If she can't break up for any reason, it will be quite complicated, sure, but how are you responsible for a "trap" that was already there? I mean if a person can't break up due to financial reasons or because they have kids or something, it's ultimately their own life choices that led them there. If a person just likes the safety of marriage and playing with you on the side, that's not your fault either, they chose it and are responsible for how they handle their own affairs.
A simple confession does not provoke any of this.

@HannibalAteMeOut I respect your viewpoint.

not sure it can be that "unexpected",
That says it all. None of us can be sure of the results later. So, let's take into consideration the pros and cons and decide accordingly.

My decision was to walk away and it worked good for both of us. She's happy in her life and I am happy in mine. Both have no guilts that could have been there.😇
