It’s the people that promote positivity with massively overused quotes and judgement that are truly frightening.
They’re the threat to humanity. Telling someone how to feel, or judging if how they feel is valid is a true sickness. Hoarding their joy like the rest of us broken bitches didn’t deserve a beautiful smile to hide behind.
@GeistInTheMachine it truly is. And people follow it thinking they’re superior and then deserve to give advice. Making others feel like shit because they don’t meet some fake standard.
@RebelFox There was a lady who wrote a book on it, within the medical field of cancer survivors. I think she said it can lead to worse outcomes. I bet if you google it you can find it.
You have to understand that American culture is basically a mind cult.
George Carlin (RIP) Essentially touched on this phenomenon without flat out saying it.
If he had, it would scare people away.
The truth is only entertaining to many people if they can brush it up with their egos.
@lovelywarpedlemon I’m only burning myself, but what difference does it make anymore... Somebody has to be the so called raging idiot. Sad part is I would die for change and I would die alone.
This is why I no longer talk to anyone about relationship status. When I did that, people would tell me the same thing over and over again..It will happen when you least expect it. Saying something like that doesn't help me one bit or find someone instantly.

@SW-User We don't learn and grow by saying positive things , we learn and grow by fecking up by making mistakes.
People shouldn’t be telling you what you are feeling is wrong. No one knows what you have been through truly. I have felt hopeless at times and people say it will get better. It’s probably not going to get better.
I still hope for good things for you because i think you deserve that but you need to feel what you are feeling.
