Reality of Depression.

Some people have those brains that release endorphins in response to stressful situations like working out or fear. So they get to feel good about difficulty in life. My brain never feels good. Ever. I never look forward to working out like some of us. I don't like it. The only reason I do it is to take care of myself. I never feel good afterward though. Relief is the feeling I would describe after working out. Same goes to fear. I don't enjoy it like some people. Some people love being scared! It's because they get those endorphins that make it exciting! It only makes me worried or anxious. Neither of these are fun for me because I wasn't blessed with that nice brain that's rewarding. I got shitty genes. The only time my brain is content, is when I stop to think and develop philosophies to get me through this slog that's going to be my life.

after running I just feel like throwing up and dying...it's ok.

Yeah exactly. 😂 It's a very draining feeling. It's not good at all. The best part about it is knowing you're helping your body and being healthy. It's purely a mental comfort though. No good feelings for me. I envy the people who genuinely feel amazing after working out.

@Conscience: I only do it to make myself hungry and tired enough to sleep. Music is about the only thing I get a rush from...running to music helps a lot.

@Kuronekko: Music cures! I have yet to meet someone who has never once liked the sound of song. It's universally pleasing to people.

@Conscience: I can run much further with the right music :) Do you like asmr? it might help you.

@Kuronekko: I work out to some podcasts or music but usually need noise of some kind to help distract me. I notice I perform a lot better with music though. I've heard a lot about asmr but I haven't tried it yet! Maybe I should.

@Conscience: definitely worth a try, I can recommend something if you'd like.

@Kuronekko: Sure! Lay it on me. So I can finally see what all the praise was about.
