@wackidywack I mean it'd be like "Well shit." And then I'd have to take on the responsibility of telling no one so they don't break down and get all emotional. Easier to pass in the moment than let them dread it coming.

@wackidywack No note. The medical professionals will explain everything to whomever you ask them to.

Or if you're in bed with no real means of hiding it anymore. Then they can grieve. Sadness is a far more costly emotion than the happiness you can bring them through withholding.
