What is the best sun screen you can buy in Britain?

I have to go on holiday some where that's crazy sunny. I have very fair skin AND DON'T WANT TO GET TANNED so I'm worried. What is the best sun screen to buy?

I'm not in Britain but I'm pretty sure you can find La Roche Posay anthelios sunscreen spray there, for me it works because it doesn't stain and doesn't make my skin oily (although I'll try looking for a cruelty-free product because this one is not). I'd also recommend buying an aftersun lotion too, Ι discovered them last year and I'm amazed.
