I hate when I get along with someone I have romantic interest in, but then they ghost me when they see my face.

No mate, I think the issue here is our expectations. Ghosting, terrible a practice as it may be, is also a form of communication. Not good communication but communication non the less. I mean not everyone has the heart to express themselves in a manner you suggest but what's cruel to you, is easy and perhaps even the "nicer" option to them.

Just take it as it is. She ghosts.... oh well, on to the next one.

As an aside the one who ghosted me was from a dating site and I'm sure she ended up with somebody I know, when I saw them together I was not impressed with her she was more interested in anything else but her partner. However they are still together which must be about 10 years now I guess.
