Have you ever wondered about this song. It is so mysterious and cryptic. Did you know Nancy was a tripping hippie for a while?

@PhilDeep I'll have to check it out! The words are mysterious. I've considered the possibility that Phaedra was an underage girl that the writer had feelings for, but was decent enough not to act on his impulses. Both bridge choruses vaguely hint at that possibility, but she uses the plural. "Look at us but do not touch" which further complicates things. Honestly I've thought it might be a warning to adults to very careful about pretty young things!
