You won't be playing games with that. It will handle anything else just fine, as long as it has 8GB or more of RAM. If it has less than 8GB of RAM, go to youtube and search for upgrade instructions using the specific model number of the computer.
In any case, you will probably want to replace it in a couple of years. By then, consider a Ryzen 7 something or other.

I would have chosen 10th Gen with i5.
