Are these narcissistic traits or just normal?

Expecting to be invited places and included, becoming resentful when it doesn't happen.

Wanting to be noticed and to stand out in certain places (preferably through looks, yes I know it's shallow.)

Enjoying the idea of having celebrity friends.

No, that's not narcissism, not unless accompanied by a number of other traits and behaviors. It's just adolescent insecurity and, yes, adolescent shallowness. You can act like an adolescent no matter how old you are, but for the most part, we see this sort of behavior in teens and 20-somethings.
