From 'Freedom of Expression' to 'Blasphemy' to 'Violent Protests'. Your thoughts and views on it.

A far-right Islamist political party in Pakistan is protesting against the government and demands the expulsion of French ambassador. It all started last year when a French Teacher was beheaded by a radical Islamic terrorist for advocating the freedom of expression given to French media for publishing cartoons that are blasphemous.

Immediately after the incident this far-right party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) protested and urged people of Pakistan especially their supporters to boycott French products and asked government to finish all the diplomatic ties with France. The current Pakistani government requested TLP party to give them some time to think over the issue.

TLP and it's supporters could not wait anymore and they are back to protest. This time they are not ready to fall back. Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is trying to explain to the protestors that expulsion of French ambassador may backfire. It would not only be a loss of trade and business but the entire European Union might turn against Pakistan. Things might become difficult for Pakistanis in Europe. Yet, protestors are adamant and want their demands met before things take a wrong turn.

Far-Right groups be it of Pakistan, India (the current Indian government is right turned far-right fascist), Spain, Italy or any other country in the world; the truth is they only cause problems and wide-spread hatred (be it for minorities, a particular community or for other nations across the globe).

No one knows far-right folks better than me because I got influenced by far-right folks few years ago. I left them when I learnt all they were feeding us were sheer lies and false facts. My family saved me from becoming a Monster! I have criticized them a lot in my other posts.

@trackboy Strong statement! It would cause further problems!
I think, there should be an open debate and both sides should conclude something positive at the end. Both need to understand each other.

@SoLeRiMix there is no spirit world anyway. religion was created as a way of controlling the masses. Karl Marx said religion is the opiate of the masses. 馃樅

@trackboy Now, that it exits in the world and you have masses who have faith in it, people have to respect one's beliefs till the time the individual is not forcefully enforcing his/her beliefs on those who respect his/her beliefs despite a different view-point.

I respect all religions but I believe in none. I just believe in the existence of God!馃檹

@SoLeRiMix @SoLeRiMix @SoLeRiMix I hope there is a spirit world. religions came about as a way for primitive people to explain stuff they did not understand. like they came up with thor to explain thunder. here are Muslims and what they do. remember they flew planes into our twin towers. Remember the picture of the young women holding her dress down to be proper as she jumped to her death from the burning building.

Not all Muslims can be held accountable for this. Just like not every Caucasian person should be held accountable for wiping out natives and slavery.

Remember, good and bad are in every race and community. I was brainwashed by Far-Right folks with such thoughts and false facts. I regret being a part of them to date. They were turning me into a monster for their political benefit. I learnt the truth about their real intentions and I left them. Please don't fall for such extremist views.馃檹
