What would you do if you couldn't control your crying?

Let's say you are in public and you have a strong urge to cry, it's really hard to control and sometimes you feel like you're going to explode into tears any second- what would you do?

I would explode into tears because it's not something I would have control over. And when I start I can't stop so there's not much to do other than continue doing what I was doing from my part, really. The most I can do is to find a bathroom and let the full stream of cold water on my wrists.
