Monterey. There's a little inn I love with a favorite room on the top floor that has access to both a balcony and a hot spa on the roof. You can sit either on the balcony or in the spa and look out over the ocean. Here's the balcony:

There are a few I used to frequent but now it is the balcony and stars around midnight.
