Do you struggle to disagree with people? ._.

I actually can't imagine having a problem with someone because we disagree over something. However, it's such an oddly common occurrence. You talk with someone, you disagree, BAM! You find insults or condescending behavior and rudeness as if that actually means something :v

Could it be a thing about control? 🤔
Some want others to be like them?
Is it insecurity? Seeing a different way of life makes them insecure or uncomfortable that their own is the right way?
What causes hostility in disagreement?

Really depends on how I know the person. I'm happy to hash it out with someone face to face in a disagreement without hopefully escalating things on my own part. Online, however, especially lately with stuff like COVID disinformation, I have no patience for that stuff. Someone gets the wrong idea there, and it actually will have consequences.
