Do you think marijuana should be completely legal for everyone to use

I live in Florida, yesterday I went to the polls to vote for ligation of marijuana. Yes I think first and for most sick people should have it it's more important. But I got to thinking what if it was legal for everyone. Think about it this way if the government puts a 20% tax or something to that extent on the purchase of weed then the economy would actually be able to climb from the whole its in right now. People will buy it regardless. This way they can control the refineries. What do you think?

It is just a plant and should not be controlled by the government. The only thing the government has done with it is outlaw it which created a black market which created fights over who got to profit from the black market which caused much death and harm to people that would not be there but for the governments creating the black market in the first place. On top of that the government is just shy of 100 years since they outlawed it in the 1920's. To what end ? They did not get rid of it there is more not less. If someone wants marijuana that is there business, if someone does not want to hire a pot head that is their business. The government needs to but out they have caused more harm than good.

Well yes I don't think that government should control it either. But realistically if it's when it's outlawed there are more problems with it being outlawed like people going to jail over it and being thrown into the system over pot. And sick people to scared to obtain it, witch it's proven helps with their treatments. Yes I don't want them to be controlling things, but seems like it's the only way. And plus it will help the economy.

I wanted it for medical reasons but they don't allow that in my state. I also think of a neighbor, their son lost his scholarship when he was arrested for marijuana one weekend at 17. He ended up on a very different life path because of it. Such a waste so sad.

@Subsumedpat: I know that in saying that things like that happen to good people just over something that people are afraid of. Yes you're right about your earlier statement hot weed whatever it's just a plant Like A Tree Grows its a plant like any bush grows it's a plant its ridiculous to control it too but I think it's the only way is to Legalize It and at least you know it's right now the government controls it at least it's accessible to people
