Years ago I did feel guilty for having my parents put me through college, because it was tough on them financial sometimes. I sometimes wondered if it would be a better idea to just follow the traditional Mexican gender roles.

The subconscious rules and if your subconscious is making you feel guilty even when your conscious mind likes that evil thing you are doing then it's time to question your conscious mind.. Not dismiss or attempt to shout down your subconscious..

Yes. Sadly, it was a house fire. My sister had MS and wasn't to be left alone. I was late going to her house after work because I wanted to stop home and relax a bit. It was too late for my sweet sister, too late to save anything. :(
