How likely do you think it will be that humans will last another 1,000 years without killing ourselves off?

We burn fossil fuels at ridiculous rates.
Pump endless heat and chemical crap into the atmosphere with no sense of anything other than profit as we do it.
De-forest every natural resource for money.
Mine Coal; Tin; Iron; Diamonds; Gold and poison the earth as we do it.
Over populate pasture with 'designed' cattle and sheep that do maximum damage to as large an area than ever before.
Hunted and killed valuable species into extinction.
Got a third of the Human population reliant on one drug or another.

I'd say the odds aren't good

Weapons get more powerful and censoring the bad shit gets easier. All it takes is one trigger happy idiot

Maybe a much smaller population than what we have now
