@Stereoguy That wold be unwise. The blue/red divide is also a productivity divide, and the West especially is an economic monster.

After NYC’s migration you essentially end up with a rump state and a resource-based economy - and a wealthy regional power to the West. Long-term outlook of that scenario is pretty shit.
