Events like this are a massive outpouring of collective anger that has been building for some time and finally boiled over. This isn't just about Floyd. Most people will express it constructively. Some will express it destructively. Yet others still will take advantage of the situation in simple self interest. And of course, there is going to be a little bleeding over between all these groups.
In the end, you have to remember that tens of thousands march and disband peacefully, while hundreds or dozens loot and riot.
