@Mandalorian My teacher was saying that maintaining law and order in some countries is walking a knife edge at the best of times and the current situation has pushed people over the edge. But that doesn’t excuse the looters destroying people’s livelihoods

@QuixoticSoul Being the wealthiest most powerful country in the world didn’t stop the LA riots from getting out of control or did it stop this situation from getting out of control
@ChloeYoung Maybe ask your teacher why the riots happened? Ask the teacher if any of it is related to the works of Dr Martin Luther King Jr and the human rights movement...
Ask your teacher if there is anyone agitating and stirring up racist sentiments in the community, from the highest level of government...
Ask if there is any truth to the saying that, "violence is what occurs when the cup of patience overflows"...
Ask the teacher what they would expect to happen if a community is closed up and has their freedom of movement restricted due to a pandemic, and what they would expect to happen if after the restrictions are lifted, and the community is almost immediately faced with a crime against humanity...ask them if they think the riots are a predictable response after all that...
