Western Mountains or East coast?

I'm planning on a solo trip just to get away from the shit here for a little while. Haven't gone to the coast in at least half a decade and I've never seen the Texas mountain ranges. If I go to the coast, it's gonna be a fishing trip. If I go to the mountains, I want to hike them and lodge somewhere nice for about a day or two. It's been a rough week. I'm fed up.
