How many men here whose wives do not work but support the wife no matter what?

I have brothers whose wives are just tending home and taking care of the family. Each support his wife, shower not just love but everything. I'm feeling a sense of envy, really! (but in a good way...how I so wish...)

My dad's not on here (thank goodness lol) but his goal was always to have a spouse who could stay home and take care the house and kids. He went out and got the best degree he could and then when he met my mom he basically said "I want us to have as many kids as we can and I'll always make sure both you and them are taken care of". And they are still really happy with the arrangement. My mom cooks meals and homeschools me and all eight of my younger siblings and makes a little extra money with cheese and eggs and stuff from our farm馃槀 I definitely aim to have a similar life if possible.

@AmmieBell I like the traditional way too but sometimes we walk on different path from our parents.

@1Dogma yeah lol. I definitely prefer what I grew up with and would rather live on a farm and stay home to raise my kids full time. But if not possible I'll still make sure to get a degree and have a backup plan haha

@1Dogma I'm definitely the opposite. I guess growing up on a farm made it so I am not at all used to new people lol. Even one day visiting the city gets me overwhelmed and eventually really irritable since I can't get away from people 馃槀

@chrisCA oh yeah for sure. The cost of living tends to be high enough that it would be silly for me to just expect that I could also be a stay at home mom. My mom just happened to marry a doctor, which made it possible 馃槀

A stay at home mom, and home schooling is not feasible.
