Sometimes we view them as we want them to be. Not as they actually are.

True... But there are people that have masks that never really fall, maybe crack a little, but never end up really knowing them at least in the internet... Masks that seem to be part of themselves and nature.

Yes they will. Usually when there are altercations/a fall out, they don't get their way or you stand up to them... That's when Mr. Hyde's true nature is revealed. Many times that underlying person is never revealed to the public and those who dote on them.

True, I agree... it's hard to keep up a pretense, eventually they will make a mistake..

People will put on an entire parade of masks just to avoid facing their own soul.

That's why cops interview people over and over. Something is bound to slip.

Nope. Lots present themselves how they think they are or wish they were. What gets them attention or liked. So deluded they believe it themselves

I am who I present myself as myself. I don't try to be someone I'm not, online or in real life, but your perception of me could be completely different than who I am.

I don't think time has anything to do with it. You could also say, give people enough time, and they'll be so set in NOT revealing their true colors, they never will.
