How do you act when people bully or laugh at you for being shy?

I’m really shy around people I don’t really know and some people make fun of me for it and tell other people that I’m weird

I've always just ignored them. Doesn't matter to me what they think about me. I already have people I care about, and their opinions are the ones that matter. If they don't know you personally, don't take it personally.

@Emmaharris Some people are just spiteful. Especially highschool-middle school aged girls lol. Just avoid them. What they think of you has nothing to do with you. Every single person has a different idea of who you are. And the people who think negatively of you shouldn't be part of your life. Be around people who make you happy and who you make happy. Some people just don't vibe
