A part of me believes we shouldn't regret anything. I think the more things we trust people with and they use against us, the more we become free and stronger. The worst was survived and what we once valued as a part of who we are, we now realize we can rise above it and above all definitions of the self.

I sometimes have total strangers going through my internet content trying to fetch something to use against me. And I can only imagine what it is like for those who have to deal with them offline.
Then again, I feel they damage themselves more than others. Whereas they can be a motivation to those they abuse in a journey of self-discovery, they may never experience that blessing themselves because they are stuck in their ways.
