Have you ever been interested in something that you don't really like?

That would be psychology for me. Something just seems really off about it. It's annoying but still quite interesting.

For me it would definitely be poetry. I understand the value and the meaning it has to society and people. Im interested in structure and how exactly they are composed and the meaning behind them. I think its genius.

But at the same time make me read a poem and dissect it for a grade and i hate it. Especially when im forced to compose a poem of my own it makes me vomit lol.I want to be able to enjoy it since i find it so interesting but more often than not i dont even want to talk about it.

@SW-User I can understand this! This is kind of the whole humanities studies' point, they analyse what the poet could have been thinking so much, it can get so annoying!

@HannibalAteMeOut Oh my, i would not be able to sit through that. They analyze the most mundade details and make mountains out of anthills that i wonder if it even is enjoyable to read the piece of literature at hand.

@SW-User I wonder if they really are correct about all these interpretations or if the poets were just like whatever about writing those poems 😂

@HannibalAteMeOut Honestly, im pretty sure some writers and poets were like "I doubt anybody is going to think too hard about this so im going to be as abstract as possible and have litle no meaning or relevance to my life." Theres no way all of these interpertations can be right😂

@SW-User I know right!
