How should I distinguish between what burdens a woman psychologically and physiologically?

Like, my crush seems tough in starting work at 6am (in retail), but there are times when she's fed up with work at 11pm already (not the same shift here). She also does things at work like walking quite some miles through the store through the day, which would get me exhausted (I used to work part-time in that same field for a while).

Now when costumers come up to her, she sometimes takes some time to walk with them and show them stuff they have questions about. But then again there sometimes are clumsy costumers who accidentally drop something and she has to clean it up. I mean I've sometimes forgotten about recipes for meals she recommended to me and she had to repeat them for me once more.

What I wonder about here is: What is it really in that job which gets women like her exhausted after some time? I'd like to know because I'd eventually try to help her here and there.
