How long does it take for you after waking up to realize that what you dreamed wasn't true?

You’re talkin’ to a lucid dreamer bud. I always know I’m dreaming

@DragonSlayerr How do you do that? I've been trying for years but always end up not being able to sleep at all because I'm constantly thinking about lucid dreaming lmao

@DragonSlayerr I once woke up from a dream in which my crush's female co-worker tried to make me quit my job at their shop, saying I was a loser for applying for a part time job while being a student. For minutes I believed she wouldn't like me, but then I realized that she doesn't even know me 🤣

@tutku it started when I was a kid. I’d have a nightmare and then be like. “Wait a minute, this isn’t real.” Then I’d fly out of that dream and try to think of another dream. I always think about what to dream before I dream it. I tell myself what I want to see and how I want to see it. If I don’t like a dream I wake myself up by opening and closing my eyes in dream and then I wake up.

It actually takes me pretty long lol
Specially with nightmares

@tutku With nightmares I often get that somehow they're true :/

It depends on the dream, occasionally they are true though.
