What should I do?

I am so anxious that I'm nauseous or might have a seizure. I am scared of having an anxiety attack.

Don't set yourself up for those things to happen by thinking they might. Find better-feeling thoughts. Go outside and connect with nature. Take a walk. Listen to your favorite music. Be with friends. Hug.

@PhoenixPhail It doesn't work that way, most of us that suffer panic attacks get triggered over the smallest things, and once our minds start racing only a panic pill will help stop them.
@NativeOregonian Yes, I know. I've had panic attacks. I haven't had one in a while, but I carry Valium with me everywhere I go just in case. But the things I suggested might help you move in the direction of not having an attack, even if it doesn't help for a while.

@PhoenixPhail I take 0.5mg lorazepam myself before I got to bed, my panic attacks always hit me when I am sleeping, they wake me up.
@NativeOregonian So, it would seem there's something in your subconscious that's working on you. Have you made some positive headway with a counselor/therapist?

@PhoenixPhail I have a super rare lung disease brought on by two bouts of blood clots, people with my disease die in our sleep from either suffocating or cardiac arrest, I go to bed every night knowing it could be my last. I was seeing a couple two separate times, both were worthless, but I had to see them due to my anxiety fighting social security for disability, to which I was approved late last september.
@NativeOregonian I'm so sorry you're having to deal with that ailment. I wish there were something I could do for you other than pray, which I will do. 🙏

That is so good that you finally got approved for Social Security for Disability. That should help a lot.

Please keep in touch and let me know how you're doing. 🤗😘

@PhoenixPhail Thank you, I got a new (used) SUV yesterday, a 2010 Dodge Journey, finally got some freedom back in a way, I'm no longer dependent on others for a ride to monthly blood draw appointments to check my blood thinner levels, and other things.
@NativeOregonian That sounds like a GREAT freedom. And I'm sure you'll be using the SUV for more than driving to your blood-draw appointments. 🤗
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@PhoenixPhail I will be, but I really cannot drive too far at once and be able to run errands, I found that out the hard way this morning, I woke up so stiff and sore I could barely move, even though I have portable oxygen, the SUV was 2.5 hours away.
@NativeOregonian Oh, gosh. But that's just a one-time deal, isn't it. You don't have to drive 2½ hours to your monthly appointments, do you?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@PhoenixPhail No, just a five minute drive, but I also currently live in the middle of nowhere hicksville iowa, and our kmart is closing down in two weeks, the last one still left in iowa besides another one two hours away that is shutting down as well, the closest walmart is at least an hour away in any direction.
@NativeOregonian And Walmart is an essential place for you to go?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@PhoenixPhail For certain things, yes.
@NativeOregonian And there's nowhere else to get those things you need?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@PhoenixPhail As I said, I currently live in the middle of nowhere iowa, the last kmarts are closing, the only store that sells clothing now is a farm supply store.
@NativeOregonian Oh, wow. Well, it's possible SOMETHING will come along that will be helpful. Do you buy things online? And is there a way to get things to you out in the boondocks?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@PhoenixPhail Buying clothes online is not advisable, they might not fit right, they should always be tried on first. Second, I am on state medicaid due to my illness and already established at my local clinic for my monthly blood draws and dr visits, I am pretty much stuck here now.
@NativeOregonian I understand. And some thing might be bought online. I can see you're in a tight spot.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@PhoenixPhail Yes, some things can, but not everything is available through Amazon or other online stores, or brick and mortar stores that are also online.
@NativeOregonian You're welcome to PM me, anytime.

@PhoenixPhail I'm good in general forum threads.
