Do you ever feel like disappearing?

I live in NYC, and honestly life is really stressful here. Add in personal problems, anxiety and depression, life here gets harder. Was listening to Tracy Chapman- Fast Car. The song just makes me want to disappear and start life anew.

Yes, but that song tells about how starting a new life and running away didn't help her. Her troubles followed her it's a real sad song

@SW-User Thank you, many people interpret the song in different ways. I see it as a song of empowerment. One line the speaks to me is "Leave tonight or live and die this way". I see that as, it's either I get up and do something better or keep going down the rabbit hole.

@TrveNorth yes but for me that's was after she spent many years trying to better her life and she realized her husband was the same as her father at that point. But in the end she does decide to do it without him which is empowering
