What sounds or smells bring memories flooding back

One of many examples for me is the sound of frogs as I fall asleep, it’s so comforting when on the occasional times I hear them.

Yes! Bullfrogs and crickets are the sounds I slept to growing up. I miss that!

@sarabee1995 The only time I hear them now is when we go camping. I just like to cuddle up and listen and savour the moment.

@Les02 I used to lay in bed for what felt like hours listening to them through the open window during the spring and fall. :)

@sarabee1995 Don’t know about you but I used to try and stay away, not that I could 😁

@Les02 Although I'm a city girl the times we have been camping together, you have taught me to appreciate the comforting sounds of the bush.

I also love the smell of summer rain and the sound of it on a tin roof.

@VodkaBec Thanks darl, speaking of the smell of rain, the smell of a tropical rainforests is a special memory for me.... and is there nothing like the sound of rain on a tin roof 🙂
