Agnosticism is a myth, as nobody can remain impartial. The agnostic is actually an atheist: believing it more likely God doesn't exist.
Having said that, the agnostic atheist is slightly more rational than the strong skeptic, yet neither represents the height of reason.

@Success So, you think by necessity we passively gain psychological beliefs.
That doesn't mean that from a rational point of view our position cannot be agnostic. We may as a matter of fact have a disposition to a certain belief, but when considering it rationally remain agnostic given ignorance. We can push our bias aside.

@Gouzi Agnosticism is largely a lame term, as is atheism. The agnostic atheist and skeptical atheist are both doubters. They only vary in their amount of certitude. If agnosticism implies a 50/50 leaning then it is a myth. In psychology both are deemed to perceptually dwell within bias.
