On Judgement day, you are asked... Are you on the side of God , the Ruler or the Rule?

@SatanBurger a ruler is the one in position like a king or president.. and a rule is the one that defines morality or code of conduct ..

@in10RjFox Well monarchies tend to only benefit a few, so does this God with the belief that you have to have a certain belief system in order to get to heaven. Presidents can go both ways but every 4 years it is either bad, good or neutral so no to that as well, they can have one law one year and the next that same law could be abolished.

All are authoritarian in some way, shape or form so probably no.

I guess that leaves only the rule but then I'd have to ask, what rule? My own morality or someone else's?

If it's my own then probably the rule yes.

A ruler implements a rule, and then dies ... but the rule is still in vogue right ? and we as people follow ..

The second is going with the ruler... which means we renounce our life to be with the ruler .. and be where he is ..

The third is God .. The ultimate truth or however you see it .. Since you say NO God.. you need to choose between the above two ..

I said I wouldn't want to be literally IN the side of God, you know stuck in someone's organs literally? The correct word is "on the side."

I don't want to be IN the side of anyone.

Why give a third option "the rule" if you want the conversation to go the way you see things?

The ruler and rule.. has a lot of meaning .. monarchy vs democracy .. as people may argue no ruler now.. and ask me who is the ruler ..

But the rule established in the past, becomes the ruler through books ..

Anyway, it is a quick test to one's faith .. Many obey rules and ruler.. waiting for god.. but once they know god, they may just jump over...

But I am trying to also improve on the question, as I see it as a good one that provokes thought .. and wanted to be in Questions list...
