Lot of folk are unhappy.
Business is slow; everybody still worried about the near future let alone trying to plan a for the 'distant'future.
Wages are stagnant. Employers want ever more contract conditions or no contracts at all.
Politicians seem to love getting their faces on tv but don't seem to be moving much policy for their respective countries.
And they're all guilty of 'fearmongering'.
All that and the 'C' word is just around the corner
