The emotional and mental price most women pay for going through the process of aborting their unborn child is enough of a problem, without adding the judgment from others. Most do not make such decisions lightly. Which is compounded by the arguments for the benefit to the future wellbeing of mother and child, who may end up having an unprepared parent and a disadvantaged upbringing.
Besides that, our planet is already overpopulated. We should be very careful about forcing pregnancies to become births; we do so at our own peril. We may protect the sanctity of life, but ruin its quality for all.
