That depends on how severe it is. My friend has autism he can be quite manipulative because he doesn’t understand that he can’t control other people to do what he wants them to do. He will not leave things in the past either and will not move on and half the time doesn’t listen. Can be very frustrating for me. I’ve had many arguments with him and have fallen out with him many times over the years. On the whole though that yes I probably would date an autistic person.

@Gingerbreadspice sounds more like a personality issue than an autism issue. But I agree it depends on severity because it wouldn’t be fair of me to date someone without the same cognitive ability to make decisions. But mostly it’s a yes for me too. I have quite a lot of experience with it and I work with people with autism for a living.
