what social pressures come to mind? I have a lot that come to mind. the only big one i do is shave, i don't think i would shave if i was the only person on earth. there is a huge pressure to have kids. but i think thats a good pressure, i might not personally like it but its good for most people to have kids. the thing that really hurt is when my dad said i am taking away his chance to be a grandparent, i thought of responding with i will donate my eggs then you'll get grand children but i think what he is really looking for is help raseing them. im strong enough to not give in to the pressure. it would be worse if my parents said you should not have kids because you will be a bad mom. being a good mom is a compliment. another one is advertising all the most popular clothes, advertising is very powerful and the more often you see things the more likely its the first thing you remember.
