You have to think of patriotism differently. Not are you proud of what your country is doing but, do you care at all about making your country a place that would make you feel patriotic.
@REMsleep I don't hate my country. It's the people. They're dumb, stupid, put their heads into wrong places, vote even more stupid people and make the country a shitty one
