What do you envy most about others?

I envy the ability to smile. Even if it is a joyous moment I might not smile because others are around and that, when I was younger, translates to weakness. I feel like I have a great smile and once I do share it I no longer carry the same prejudice.

@HeilHitler thank you for brightening up such a somber question. This might just be BA off rip.

@HeilHitler You have moral dilemmas?

There's no point, envy doesn't help you. You just have to focus on yourself and not compare yourself.
Much more people than you realize and wandering around feeling the same, we all have issues though, smiling is most certainly not a weakness.
We learn some fucked up things as a kid, doesn't make it real

@MushroomFaerie so the reason I mentioned a smile is because that has lead to me losing opportunities in life. I don't mean only in the relationship world but the business one too. While I do comprehend what you're saying I don't feel my lack of smiling is a weakness. That in itself has provided me with opportunities only "looking" tough can provide. I guess you're just in perfect tune with yourself than the majority of us. Thank you for your comment.
@EdDieBloo I'm not in perfect tune at all. If it works for you then go for it.
Maybe where you live is different.
EdDieBloo · 31-35, M
It's always different where someone else lives. The experience of a black man in Atlanta is different from the one in Arkansas. Same way the experience of a lesbian woman in Atlanta is different from one in Missouri. You just sound like you had the answer to it all.

Nothing worth mentioning. The grass is never greener

No, I got it. I guess delusion id what I was eluding to. But that leaves to an over thinking mind and that is much harder to deal with. So yeah, perception...

@EdDieBloo You do take things to the cosmos...must be exhausting

Sometimes... Most times it feels like a loud argument with me.

The ability to develop a romantic connection without getting nervous and running away when things get too real.

@SW-User anxiety is a bitch! Over thinking is great if you plan to execute an idea but just the thought of what could would should be is daunting for some.

Their sunny and cheery demeanor

@bijouxbroussard I'm battling the same myself. It sucks but the reward is truly worth it. Depression and I will be a couple for life but I get around it. Great things in feeling hopeless sometimes.
I avoid envying individuals, because I don’t know anyone’s complete story but my own. However, on another level I envy the ability to overcome shyness or depression , because those have both plagued me all of my life. And while I can often mask the former, they persist.
Reflection2 · 41-45, M
Two things. Their honesty and ability to stay humble. Such people are usually respectful and kind too.

I envy that some people are stupid enough to enjoy their lives
