Do you ever have that song that you can’t listen to because it hurts to even remember the person that you associate the song to?

If yes, then what is it and what’s the story behind it?

True by Spandeu ballet, we used to slow dance in her room to it (adorable I know).
It actually took me years to actuallymove on, I truly loved her. We're still friends now 8 years later though.

@Ryannnnnn Do you see yourself getting back together with her one day? For me, being friends with an ex is a temptation. It’s a tragedy waiting to happen.

@Menetics I did confess that I still loved her years after, it didn't turn out that way but it helped me let go. We talk on the phone sometimes though, I'm okay with her finding happiness with another, as long as she's happy.

@Ryannnnnn That’s true love. True love is selfless but there's always this little hope we have that they’ll realise we’re the one for them. I rather detach myself from someone who brought me misery. I don't want to bring any baggage into my next relationship. He deserves my full attention and loyalty. You can never love someone fully if you haven't let the other go.

@Menetics You're exactly right. Even now I still have little thoughts, I think it's more that I miss love and connection itself at this point though, it wouldn't work between us anymore, our lives are different.

I hope you find that someone, you seem like a good egg
