Do you have a contingency plan for the end of the world?

I do. and me and my friend have given it way too much thought already :).

Being prepared is always a good thing, however, I'm an old man and have been hearing "End of world" scenario's since I was a toddler. I do think it's wise to do what you can though, America is in for the worst times since the 30's.

@SAWYERandPYE I'm not at all a preparationist, but we've just thought out what we would do in that very stressfull situation, how to save the most people around us, and protect ourselves. And i don't expect it to happen really, but if it dide it would be too late to plan well.
I agree, i wish things were different in the states :/

@Axelerator according to several highly regarded economist our present economy is a virtual house of cards. Wish I could provide specifics but I'm not qualified, you can locate them on YouTube though.

@SAWYERandPYE No i know exactly what you're referring to. As our society and structures grow ever more complex and intermingled, only one piece needs to be taken out to topple most everything in short order.

@Axelerator I do have a supply of emergency food. My main thing is to remain free of fear so I can be supportive of friends and family. Folks in the depression had it horribly but I'm not aware of any who died of hunger.

The looters are the main concern, but I live in a double gated private community and not many of them are going to bother trying to break in.
