How do you get when you feel very down?

I prefer not to spread it to others and retreat into myself more, it probably comes across as being a bit distant to most.

suppressing things will only lead to more pain in the long run. it takes forever to truly come back out.

@soulsrespite I agree that supressing is not the way to go. I try my best to deal with whatever it is within myself, and it usually just takes a while for the worst to clear. It's also more a matter of not seeing much point in sharing, since it would have to be a rare person to be able to relate in some way to it, and even then i don't expect others to have the solutions for something specific. That being said sharing with the right person is a good thing i'd say.
I understand. I also think the only real way someone would truly understand is if they have experienced something similar or they have been in the same exact situation.

To answer your question for myself, I usually just go into solitude until I process it or just choose not to care about it, until it comes back out again. @Axelerator

@soulsrespite Exactly, and even then it would never be 100%, but still a rare opportunity.

Similar although i'm sure different as well, but i can relate to the solitude part in my own way.
