If the bible was written so many years ago why do so many people still refer to it?

To whom it may concern- The eternal truth of grace is something few will understand here. Everyone on earth should be jumping up and down and clapping their hands and singing............................uh............................nobody's doing it huh? That is so much sadder than anyone knows.
