It means that the relationship ended for reasons, mistakes made on both sides and things I couldn't see at the time but now in hindsight I know and can fix the parts that were my fault and learned to see the signs of the parts that were their fault, so remembering them means remembering what to look for and what to avoid in the next girl and how to be a better partner myself too.

@yourstrulytrish no. I think we agree....we are just expressing it differently. Pain proves to us we still feel. Maybe it helps to strengthen us. Im not too sure thats true for me personally...but it is for many x
