Could any one of you explain what this is? Please

Sometimes i see a picture of a place or a place in real and i feel like i have seen it before or it has some connection to me, as if i had been there or will be in there in the future. In it i can feel the atmosphere of that place, what its like there..idk its strange. It's mind boggling! What is this?

I don't think Deja vu is what this is.

@Number5 It is possible. One theory of deja vu is that one eye sends information to your brain faster than the other creating the sense when the brain processes the latter input first. "IF" that is true, looking at a two dimensional image could trigger that sense in some people.
Again, "IF" and I do mean "IF" the original theory is correct.

@Number5 I know exactly what you mean. You're right, it's not deja vu... I've experienced deja vu (we all have) and it's a very different feel.. Like you said, the *atmosphere*... Seeing a photograph of a place I've never been before (like in a different continent) or from another time, but feeling it's so familiar like a "memory", like it reminds me something, then I realize I have never been there, or I wasn't even alive back then...
