Why don’t people like me?

So I went bowling with a friend of mine. She’s always been really attractive, and even when I was thin people always asked me “Hey, is your friend seeing anyone? Could you set me up with her?” No one ever asks me out. So when we went bowling, I recognized the person at the counter. He had been in one of my classes last semester. He came over to check on us a couple of times. My friend called me later to tell me that she thought he liked me because he walked away when he saw I was taking a phone call and looked disappointed. Well, today he added me on Facebook and messaged me asking for my best friend’s number. I’m so pissed off. I don’t even really care if the guy likes me or not, I’m just pissed that my friend gets everything. I’ve never been asked out in my life, and she gets hit on everywhere she goes. Why are guys so shallow?

Girls aren’t all that much better but I can totally relate. When I was in high school, my best friend Julie, blonde haired, blue eyed, built like a brick shithouse Julie, got all the male attention while I stood next to her like a human speedbump. 🙄

I know it’s not easy but hang in there, your time will come.

Yea, but everyone can definitely do more for themselves, the issue is they do not put themselves in the shoes of the individuals they are jealous or envious!
I’m angry about the principle of the issue, not that she is more beautiful than I am. Don’t get me wrong, I am jealous, but I know I don’t have a right to feel that way when I don’t do anything to improve that. I’m more angry about men who are shallow and focus on appearance rather than personality.@TheeOriginalAmazingsEXLover

I'm too picky, to focus on soly appearance, I'm very attractive! -Frankly, would you date or marry me based on my being attractive. That's shallow also, people do not see themselves as shallow, when in reality they are just as much.
Not if you were a rude person.@TheeOriginalAmazingsEXLover
