Why don’t people like me?

So I went bowling with a friend of mine. She’s always been really attractive, and even when I was thin people always asked me “Hey, is your friend seeing anyone? Could you set me up with her?” No one ever asks me out. So when we went bowling, I recognized the person at the counter. He had been in one of my classes last semester. He came over to check on us a couple of times. My friend called me later to tell me that she thought he liked me because he walked away when he saw I was taking a phone call and looked disappointed. Well, today he added me on Facebook and messaged me asking for my best friend’s number. I’m so pissed off. I don’t even really care if the guy likes me or not, I’m just pissed that my friend gets everything. I’ve never been asked out in my life, and she gets hit on everywhere she goes. Why are guys so shallow?

If the situation was reversed, then men wouldn't be shallow I take it.
They would if they were only basing it on appearances. @SheikYerbouti

@marilynmichelle How do you know it's only by appearance? Everyone has different criteria.
Because they don’t know anything about each other. They’ve never met, and they didn’t even have a conversation. And he messaged me saying he thought she was cute.@SheikYerbouti

@marilynmichelle Would you really want a guy who judges by looks only? Give it time and out of nowhere a guy will like you for being you.
No, of course not. I’m just frustrated that I’ve never been noticed. @SheikYerbouti

@marilynmichelle Maybe you have and aren't aware of it. In time it will happen, guarantee it.
