How is Bill Cosby rotting in jail while Cardi B is getting a free pass for the exact same thing?

Isn't this a double standard?

I'd like to be clear.

I'm neither defending Cosby, or attacking Cardi.

This is about mutual accountability for both sexes.

It kind of proves that all these new movements were really just a war on men. Its hard to be convinced otherwise when Bill Cosby is (deservedly) locked up for the same thing she did and some people are even praising her for it.

@JaggedLittlePill how hard is to understand that we're asking for the same standards applied to men to be applied here? Do you think if a man publicly admitted to drugging and raping anyone that ANY men would defend him? But people are defending Cardi B!! That's the issue here!

All the cases you brought up were women who came forward without evidence. When there was sufficient evidence to believe Bill Cosby was guilty, EVERYONE turned against him. I don't know what else I need to explain.

@SW-User Great. But even before he was convicted in court, he was convicted in the court of public opinion, as a disgusting person and an evil human being. What is disturbing to most of us is that Cardi B is not even being held accountable at all and people are actually praising her.

If victims come forward, she should be charged. However, she didn't drug them to have sex with them without their consent. So there's the difference.... no victims coming forward, and the charges would be for drugging and robbery.

It is not actually the same thing. She did not sexually assault the men she robbed them.

This is NOT to say that she should get away with it or that it is right..it just is not exactly the same thing and comparing the two things only shows how no one grasps how horrible sexual assault and rape are.
