Is worrying if one's gone too far (in terms of personality change) a normal aspect of personality change, or is it a red flag?

I've underwent a drastic personality change in the last 6 months or so. Willingly, without a special outside trigger. Today I found that I'm now cool with doing things I used to despise; despise so much that I firmly wanted anyone doing those things dead. Now, I'd even love to do those things myself.

Is this a red flag? Or just a normal aspect of personality change?

I love my current self, yet I'm scared of how much I changed. Was the old I so much dumber than the current I? Should I consider bringing the old Me back - before it's too late?

I can't open to anyone about these things in RL (which is itself the part of the change). So I come to y'all here.

If you like who you are becoming, go with it. We change as we get older. What we like, who we tolerate, what we enjoy, even the foods we eat - it all changes for a lot of us.
And since i do not know you from anyone else here, I think it is normal.

But the acceptance of these changes are up to you and those close to you to decide if it is anything to be concerned with.
